Some houses, particularly those abroad, have to be requested. This means that once you have submitted your booking request, you will be informed that the owner must approve the booking before it can be finally confirmed. This is because, particularly at destinations abroad, there are many properties in high demand that are not necessarily listed online. An owner may have agreements with several agencies, which is why there is an owner or local agency managing the bookings.
